Cooking recipes?

I AM A GOOD CHEF AND ALL BUT I NEED MORE RECIPES TO COOK FOOD FOR MY FAMILY AND FOR FUN CUZ I LUV TO COOK

Would you like from me to share some of my recipes with you? I will send some of them to you if you wish. Much to may to post here. I am from the south so I have some southern recipes and others too.

Crazy me guess I could give you one, couldn't I?





Hawaiian Chicken


1-3# cut up ready to cook fryer


1/4 cup melted butter


1-9 oz can pineapple slices (or chunks) I uses more


1/4 cup brown sugar


2 Tab. cornstarch


2 Tab chili sauce


1 tsp soy sauce


1 tsp salt


1/4 cup vinegar


1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce


1/3 cup cat sup


In a shallow roasting pan, roll chicken in melted butter until well coated. Arrange pieces, skin side up, in a single layer in pan. Reserve 2 slices of pineapple for garnishing %26amp; dice the remaining. Mix the pinapple juice with the remaining ingredients. Add drained pinapple pieces. Spoon half over chicken. Cover and bake 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Uncover %26amp; bake for 30-45 min. or longer till chicken is tender. Baste chicken occ. with sauce as it cooks. When done twist the two slices of pinapple (cut into) and place on chicken and serve.





CARROT CAKE





2 cups plain flour


2 cups sugar


2 teaspoons baking powder


2 teaspoons soda


1 teaspoon cinnamon


1 teaspoon salt


4 eggs


1 1/2 cups Wesson oil


3 cups grated carrots


1/2 cup chopped pecans


1/2 cup chopped English walnuts


3 - (8 ounce) packages cream cheese


1 stick butter (not margarine)


1 - (2 pound) bag of powder sugar





Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon. Beat eggs and add oil. Combine dry ingredients with egg mixture. Add carrots and nuts and pour into 4 greased/floured cake pans (8 or 9 inch) and bake for 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Cream together cream cheese and butter. Add sugar and beat well. ( I always let my cake cool for a very long time, sometimes overnight) When cake is cool, frost between layers.

a few suggestion from Singapore dishes





Stewed Pork in Claypot


Ingredients





* 450 grams of pork frank


* 1 tbspn of tamarind paste


* 2 tbspn of peanut oil





Marinate





* 2 tbspn of oyster sauce


* 2 tbspn of light soy sauce


* 1 tbspn of dark soy sauce


* 1 tbspn of black bean paste


* 1 tspn of sesame oil


* 1 tspn of Shao Shin wine


* pepper to taste


* 1 tspn of minced garlic


* 1 tbspn of cornflour





Directions


1. Cut pork into cubes and add in marinate mixture. Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.


2. Heat wok up and add in 2 tbspn of peanut oil. Stir-fry marinated pork for 3 minutes.


3. Pour stir-fried pork into a claypot and add in tamarind paste and a cup of water. Cover claypot and simmer for 1 to 2 hours or until meat is tender and the soup is thicken.


4. Serve hot with rice.





Sweet Eggplant Stew


(Semur Terong)


Ingredients





* 1 lb. eggplant


* 4 Tbs. vegetable oil


* 1 Tbs. shallots


* 1 clove garlic, sliced


* 陆 cup water


* 1 Tbs. sweet soy sauce


* 陆 tsp. pepper


* 录 tsp. nutmeg


* 1 tsp. vinegar


* 陆 tsp. salt


* 1 tsp. sugar





Directions


Cut the unpeeled eggplant into 陆-inch-thick slices, and then cut the slices in half. Fry lightly in 2 Tbs. of oil for 2 minutes, or until light brown and softened. Set aside.





Stir fry the shallots and garlic in the remaining oil until light brown. Add the water, sweet aoy sauce, pepper, nutmeg, vinegar, salt and sugar. Let all of these ingredients cook for approximately 3 minutes to prepare the sauce.





Cook the eggplant slices in the sauce for additional 2 minutes to distribute the flavors. Shake the pan several times to mix but not mash the eggplant.





Serve hot or at room temperature.





Makes 4 servings.
