Why are there more females than males that post questions in the Cooking and Recipes category?

According to the avatars.Why are there more females than males that post questions in the Cooking and Recipes category?
I dunno, but why then are there more male chefs that female chefs in the restaurant business if cooking is supposedly a feminine thing? That's a head-scratcher...Why are there more females than males that post questions in the Cooking and Recipes category?
MOST WOMEN ARE OPEN TO TRY NEW THINGS, AND TO SEEK HELP WHEN NEEDED. MANY MEN CAN'T EVEN BOIL WATER.

Ah, but do you know that for a fact? I know so many great, male cooks.
most of us guys that DO cook don't need to ask questions--we are just that good
Could it be that they are embarressed to admit that actually cook?

cookin is wimmens work.
Because most women spend a good portion of their day planning the evening meal and generally men don't think about it until it's actually time. Men also don't need to put too much thought into the meal because they know what they want, but if you give a woman a choice, she'll dwell on it FOREVER. Or, men could be masking their avatars as women so that they don't look sissy to the internet world.


Just a head scratcher...
Because we are the ones that have to cook the food, plan the meals, do the shopping and plan the dinner parties or potluck dish. Even though we do all of the above, sometimes we need a little bit of assistance from each other, so we go where we know women will be to help out! Once in a while, when a man asks a question, it is a pretty basic question OR something really off the wall.
