A really easy one we like is BBQ beef/pork:

Put one chunch of beef or pork (any cut - about 3 pounds) into your crockpot. Pour 3 cans of beef broth over and cook on low for 6 hours. Drain broth (can be saved and froze for soup) pour one bottle BBQ sauce over and 1/2 stick butter and return to cook on low for 2-3 hours or Hi for 1 hour.

1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips. Transfer to a slow cooker.

Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved, then mix in cornstarch until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, green peppers, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar, and salt.

Rinse chicken and pat dry. Set aside. Combine rice, soup, and water in Crock Pot; stir well to mix in soup. Place chicken in a roasting bag; add dry onion soup mix. Shake bag to coat chicken well. Puncture 4 to 6 holes in bottom of bag.

Fold top of bag over chicken and place in Crock Pot on top of rice. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, until chicken is tender and rice is done but not mushy.
Sure, it's an old german recipe, and it's sooo simple.

1LB ham cut into bite size pieces

Green beans (as many or little as you like) I use 2, 8oz cans

Potatoes, 2 - 3 ';good size';, cut into 1/2 - 1'; squares

Put into crock, fill crock almost to top with water.

Cook on low all day (8 - 10 hrs)

It's so simple but soooo good
Zesty Beer Meatballs

* 3 lbs. lean ground beef

* 1 cup chopped onions, divided

* 1/2 cup fine dry seasoned bread crumbs

* 3 eggs

* 1 can (12 ounces) of beer

* 1 (6 oz) can spicy V-8 juice or use regular V-8

* 1 tsp. lemon juice

* 1 tsp. hot sauce

* salt and pepper to taste

* 1 large bottle (14 to 16 ounces) ketchup

* 1 tsp. horseradish

* 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

PREPARATION:

Combine ground beef, 1/2 cup onions, seasoned bread crumbs, and eggs. Make the mixture into small meatballs. Cook meatballs in a large skillet, turning to brown all sides, or bake in the oven until browned, about 30 minutes at 375掳.

Drain meatballs and discard fat. In saucepan combine remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes. Put meatballs and sauce into slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 6 hours. Gently stir the meatballs occasionally. To make them more saucy, add a little more ketchup and V-8, along with seasonings, to taste. Makes about 6 dozen meatballs.

Chili... Yum!
Bar-b-que Beef

Find the toughest roast in the store. Season to taste and it in the crock pot with a bit of vinegar (to break down the fibres). Cook on low heat for 10-12 hours. Use two forks to pull the meat fibres apart (shred) and turn back into the pot with a generous amount of bar-b-que sauce. An hour later, you've got the most tender bar-b-que beef. Serve on fresh buns with onions, pickles, cheese and a side salad.

This is a favorite summer meal. I throw the roast into the pot the night before and let it cook outside overnight. (it makes the neighborhood cats crazy!!)
Small package of chicken breast in strips,, (frozen, you'll need that water)

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

1 can cream of cerely soup

Put the chicken in frozen and add soup, cook!

I serve it over rice
Crock pot barbecue:

to crock pot add:

Pork tenderloins or a large pork roast.

1 cup vinegar

1 cup water

Cook on high overnight.

Drain. Shred the meat. Discard fat and bone if you used a whole pork roast. Return to crock pot and stir in your favorite barbecue sauce to taste. Reheat for about 30 minutes and serve on rolls with a good cole slaw.
Crock Pot Chicken Salsa Curry

10 chicken thighs-bone in

1 jar of your fav salsa

1/2 onion chopped

1 tablespoon curry (or about 1/2 if you don't like a strong curry taste)

1/2 cup sour cream

Place the chicken in the crock pot. Mix the onion, curry and salsa. Pour over the chicken and cook on low for about 6-8 hours.

When the chicken is done take it out of the crock pot and put on a serving plate. Add the sour cream and mix well. Spoon the sauce over the chicken.

This would go well with rice or cous cous.

If you don't have crock pot I would think that you could do this in you oven in a well wrapped pan on low (about 200) check it though since it may cook faster. I haven't done it in the oven but as I said I think it should work. I did it in the crock pot and it was awesome. This recipe is easy to do smaller portions of as well.

Rice:

When adding the liquid to rice I never really measure it out with a measuring cup. I learned this from my mom-in-law. Just pour in the rice and then gently place your pointer finger on top of the rice, slowly add cool water to a knuckle and half past the rice. Place on the stove and turn on high un-covered until the rice starts to boil. Reduce the heat to a medium low and cover with a tight fitting lid. The rice should be done in about 20 min. Fluff with a fork add some butter and enjoy.
Whole Baked Chicken In A Crock Recipe

1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) whole chicken

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 large onion, sliced

1 medium bulb garlic (about 20 cloves)

Remove giblets from chicken; remove as much fat as possible. Rinse and drain chicken; pat dry inside and out with paper towels.

In a small bowl, combine salt, paprika, pepper, and oil; mix to form paste. Spread evenly over chicken. Place onion in Crock-Pot. Place chicken, breast side up, over onion. Separate garlic into cloves; do not peel cloves. Place garlic cloves in and around chicken. Cover; cook on low setting for at least 7 hours or until chicken is tender and juices run clear
