If you care for taste, don't use a microwave.
It is ok to warm SOME leftovers, and some like the way it does rice. Meat is rubbery, bread is completely ruined within 1 min of coming out of the wave. My advice to you is to learn to cook on the stove. Start with scrambled eggs and work your way up the ladder. There are many stews and soups that take only one pot.
